This black horn box is engraved with a unique shark “scrimshaw” sketch. This trinket box is the perfect size for holding jewelry, keys and keepsake, and would make a great gift for the shark fan or fisherman in your life!

Begun by sailors working on whaling ships out of New England, scrimshaw may be the only art form that originated in America. Our scrimshaw is created by laser etching designs on ecofriendly water buffalo bone.

• Antiqued brass hinges, lid latch and green felt-lined interior and bottom.
• Natural, ecofriendly water buffalo horn tiles are inlaid on a durable wood-composite base.
• Horn is a natural product, so color variations and imperfections are inherent and enhance the beauty and individuality of each box so that no two are exactly alike.
